About Lezli Young
Lezli Young is the afternoon drive announcer at 95.3 WXRO and the music director. She has been with Good Karma Broadcasting since 1999 and is responsible for all the great entertainment on the Radio Park stage at the Dodge County Fair. Lezli loves animals and is actively involved with many area organizations and charities.

When you were young what did you want to grow up to be?
A secretary until I flunked shorthand and then made it my dream to become a DJ.
What is the best concert you were ever at?
Lonestar at the Dodge County Fair a few years back was great. Dierks Bentley at his First Last Call Ball at Fan Fair in 2004 was also super! Toby Keith and Keith Urban every place I have seen them. In 1985 my first
Billy Idol concert was amazing even though we were so far back and off to the side.
What is your favorite movie?
Dirty Dancing, Titanic, Finding Nemo, Old School, and so many others. My favorite campy movie is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (I can even sing the theme song)! I can also sing every song from Grease Two.
What is your favorite TV show?
I watch way to much TV! Here is a list of shows I absolutely can't live without: The Office, Heroes, Prison Break, Medium, Veronica Mars (boo to the CW for cancelling), Grey's Anatomy, ER, and Desperate Housewives.
What is your favorite book?
Ok I'm a Libra and hate narrowing things down—especially books. I have been a bookworm my whole life. I will read any book that looks interesting. My favorite authors include Stephen King, Anne Rice, and Dean Koonitz. I love SCI-FI (Phillip K Dick and Arthur C Clarke are amazing)! I am always listening to an audio book and reading a book at the same time so I can enjoy two at once. I have just discovered Harry Potter, and have fallen in love with him!
What is your favorite sports team?
The Packers! I almost dyed my hair green and gold when they were in the 1996 Super Bowl!
What is your favorite food?
Ice Cream. I wish I was allergic to it! My favorite flavor is Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey.
Who do you most look up to?
My Mom and Dad. They struggled a lot when we were kids and I realized how much they sacrificed to make sure I could live my dream.
