Feeling a bit like she's in an interagation room with a single light bulb a'swingin', she answers the following questions:
- Favorite TV Show: My favorite TV shows are of the documentary kind; anything on the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, A&E—it all trips my trigger. I love "Intervention" and "Paranormal State." I get giddy like a school girl when I hear a promo for "Egypt Week" or "A History of the Presidents." Don't get me wrong, I'm not ALL cerebral. I like The Simpons, Family Guy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Spaced (if you haven't seen it get it NOW!)
- Favorite Music: I've never been a genre person. When you say you are on thing, then you imply that you are not any of the others, does that make sense? I'm more of an artist person; I have everything in my car from Marilyn Manson to Brad Paisley, Gogol Bordello to Muse—and beyond.
- Favortie Movie: Wow…that's a quite a question. I LOVE movies (check out my blog "The Cinema File") and it seems almost impossible to pick a favorite! I'll instead tell you what movies I can watch again, again, and again…"The Princess Bride", "Repo! The Genetic Opera", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "The Orphanage", "Sweeney Todd (with George Hearn & Angela Lansbury)", and ANYTHING with Christoper Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer. They could make a feature film about grass and I would watch it while laughing uncontrollably.
- Favorite Foods: Spicy! Anything Spicy! I'm also a huge fan of my slow cooker. It makes me feel like I can actually cook.
- Favorite Beverage: During the week I drink coffee. Constantly. On the weekend Jim Beam slides in on occasion.
- Favorite Hobby: I love watching movies—especially really bad horror movies. If it's straight to video, then my heart gets all a'flutter. I knit. A lot. I really like spending time with my friends and building memories—WOW…that was awfully Hallmark of me…let me correct that: I like hanging out with my peeps and making inside jokes…ahh, that's better!
- Biggest Pet Peeve: Closed-Mindedness & Tardiness. I live by the rule: "If I'm early, I'm on time. If I'm on time, I'm late. If I'm late, send help." We all know that there is going to be traffic, so don't make traffic you excuse. :-)
I also have a low tolerance for closed-mindedness. We are all from different walks of life, people. There will be some who do things differently than you, so just accept that now, learn from each other, and move on without judgement.
